Screen protectors are an essential part of maintenance for any device that has an LCD screen. As we have all experienced, even though we try our best to keep things looking good accidents happen and those new phones, Kindles, iPads and whatever eventually show wear and tear. In some ways this is a good thing because then we get to buy the newest, latest and greatest device and start all over again.
Heavy use of any of these devices demands protection for the screen. A Kindle screen protector can be purchased for just a few dollars or you can splurge and spend big bucks, but either way your Kindle display will be protected. If you read a lot sooner or later the kindle will get laid down on the screen, even if it’s only for a few moments, to grab something else and when it’s picked back up again, if it is slid at all the potential for scraping the display exists. Reading through scratches is no fun at all and as anyone with glasses can tell you, it’s going to happen sooner or later.
Most people with eyeglasses take great care when cleaning them to avoid getting scratches, but even so they will show up. It’s true of any device, the only way to protect it completely is never to use it and what would be the point of that. Applying a screen protector is the next best bet and you can extend that “scratch free” period longer by taking these steps.
David Brauning has endured more scratched glasses and LCD displays imaginable and finally wised up to use a screen protector. To keep your electronic devices scratch free make sure you choose the best screen protector.
