LG 42LK450 42-Inch LCD HDTV Review I must preface my review by saying that I do not buy LG 450 online, I bought a big box store because they had a better price:
LG 42LK450 42-Inch LCD HDTV I wanted a cheap TV for the bedroom and the LG 450 is a good choice, image quality is very good for its price. LG 42LK450 42-Inch LCD HDTV I did not need 120Hz, so I saved $ 150 by buying the 60Hz model. All LG TVs have ISF Expert Settings so you can have professionally calibrated or do it yourself, even has a built-in blue filter. The ATSC tuner is very powerful because I get all local channels OTA with an indoor antenna. This model is not compatible with the Internet, if you need a decoder to Netflix, etc. A word of caution though: when I got home and has yet calibrated image looks very good, lasting approximately 12 hours to see the screen “theft”. After watching the television a few days ago the situation has improved dramatically.
Setup is fairly easy, although I found the manual lacking in more detail, in particular, LG 42LK450 42-Inch LCD HDTV a better explanation of some of the features. HD picture is absolutely amazing and beautiful. I did add the “sharpness” 70 of about 90, but otherwise left in “AUTO”. I thought the screen might be a bit ‘too big for my computer, but I was completely wrong …. It ‘absolutely fantastic! I do not have an HDMI connector on the PC, only in RGB, but it is still quite excellent. Hook-up was only a matter of connecting the connectors.
The sound is better than good but not great. LG 42LK450 42-Inch LCD HDTV I love him and he seems to have some moral “surround” quality. I give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are just good, nice, but the more I look, I realize it’s actually pretty good. Thus, it guarantees 5 stars. I saw a number of HDTV, particularly in the showrooms, and this seems to be better than them. It really is a superb HD picture quality and I am very satisfied with the purchase.
