I bought this 1215B because it had most of what I was looking for and, there are some really excellent reviews here by those who are for more technical than I. So, my review deals with what happens if there are problems. My 1215B arrived in timely fashion and in perfect working order. I added the extra 2GB of RAM in the slot provided and the system showed the change from 2GB to 4GB. I installed a wireless mouse, optical drive, and some games with no problems. Everything worked and I did a proper shut down. The next morning the system would not load and asked for me to load my copy of win 7 which of course I don’t have. I also did not have a 16GB Flash Drive so I had not made a recovery program which should have been the very first thing I did after receiving the 1215B. Lesson learned. So, I called ASUS support and was quickly speaking with a really great helpful tech who attempted a restart(even getting a supervisor involved) to no avail. The supervisor said that an RMA would be issued. I was asked to remove the extra 2GB of RAM before sending the unit and to try a restart. So, I removed the RAM and the system did restart and went to recovery which was successful, and the system is once again perfect and a recovery 16GB in place. I called the RAM supplier and they suspect that a recent BIOS revision might need to be downloaded which I will do at some point. Regards
